July 12, 2004 > The Three Terrors perform at New York's Howl Festival
The performance will take place as part of the Howl Festival, a downtown arts festival in Manhattan's Lower East Side. Another installment of the annual musical extravaganza staged by Stephin Merritt, Dudley Klute and LD Beghtol, this year's performance celebrates — and deprecates — "the city that doesn't sleep." This gala musical event in the guise of a history lesson features tunes old and new, familiar and arcane sung by the Three Terrors. Also featuring Kenny Mellman (Kiki & Herb) on keyboards, Ernest Adzentoivich (Flare, Plexus) on bass and musical saw, and Pinkie Weitzman (Rebecca Moore, Flare) on Stroh violin and viola.
