FBH: "Lonely Robot" EP Release
On January 21, 2003, Instinct Records released The Lonely Robot EP, a collection of remixes from Future Bible Heroes latest album Eternal Youth, along with two new songs.
The seven song EP includes three remixes of "Losing Your Affection": the 12-inch mix by Soft Cell, the '80 s synth-pop pioneers of "Tainted Love; the "Sunroof Mix" by Mute records founder Daniel Miller (Depeche Mode, Nick Cave, Goldfrapp) and leading producer and engineer Gareth Jones (Depeche Mode, Erasure, Einsturzende Neubauten, Interpol); and the "Client On Demand" mix by the new London based electro duo Client (ex-Dubstar Sarah Blackwood and Kate Holmes, wife of Creation founder Alan McGhee).

FBH: "Eternal Youth" CD Release
Future Bible Heroes released their second full-length album, "Eternal Youth," on Instinct Records in August, 2002. The band's songwriters are Stephin Merritt and Christopher Ewen, with Magnetic Fields pianist/manager Claudia Gonson stepping forward as lead singer. The band will be touring in the west coast in March, and Europe in May.

Merritt Composes Music for "The Orphan of Zhao"
Stephin Merritt has been commissioned by New York's Lincoln Center Festival to compose songs for a modernized version of the 12th Century Chinese opera "The Orphan of Zhao." The opera was conceived and directed by Shi-Zheng Chen, who is best known for the 21-hour long Chinese opera"The Peony Pavillion", which also premiered at the Lincoln Center Festival. "The Orphan of Zhao" will be performed in July, 2003.
