The Three Terrors perform at New York's Howl Festival
On Wednesday, August 18 at 8pm, the Three Terrors will perform their new show, "Give My Regards to Bellevue: The Three Terrors vs. NYC," a musical tribute to New York City, at the Angel Orensanz Center (172 Norfolk Street).
The performance will take place as part of the Howl Festival, a downtown arts festival in Manhattan's Lower East Side. Another installment of the annual musical extravaganza staged by Stephin Merritt, Dudley Klute and LD Beghtol, this year's performance celebrates and deprecates "the city that doesn't sleep." This gala musical event in the guise of a history lesson features tunes old and new, familiar and arcane sung by the Three Terrors. Also featuring Kenny Mellman (Kiki & Herb) on keyboards, Ernest Adzentoivich (Flare, Plexus) on bass and musical saw, and Pinkie Weitzman (Rebecca Moore, Flare) on Stroh violin and viola.
Update 7/26: Tickets are now on sale at Other Music (15 East 4th Street) or online at Smarttix. Tickets $25.
